How it works?

VisionSense combines PPE detection, identity validation, and automated gate control into a unified workflow. Edge AI analyzes camera feeds in real time, the VisionSense Manager verifies profiles and safety compliance, and a relay module triggers gates only when workers meet all requirements.

  • Video Input — IP Camera : Cameras positioned at the entry gate stream RTSP video to monitor workers approaching the checkpoint. The system captures facial data and checks whether required PPE (e.g., helmet, vest) is worn correctly. 
  • VisionSense Edge — Solution Ready Package : Performs on-device AI inference on live video to provide facial analysis. It also handles API events related to facial recognition data. 
  • Centralized Control — VisionSense Manager : Syncs worker profiles, updates attendance records, and confirms PPE compliance. If all conditions are satisfied, the Manager sends approval to the relay module. 
  • Automation — ADAM-6066 Relay to Gate : The relay module receives the verification signal and automatically opens the gate, ensuring only compliant and authorized workers enter restricted factory zones. 
  • Optional — Access Control Tablet : Used for dual-verification, displaying worker info, or manual override when needed.

  3. VisionSense Manager – Centralized system for profile validation, safety compliance, and attendance syncing.
  4. ADAM-6066 Relay Module – Executes gate automation after VisionSense Manager confirms safety compliance.
  5. Gate Mechanism – Physical access barrier controlled via the relay module.

  1. Access Control Tablet – Adds dual-verification or displays check-in status outside meeting rooms. 
  2.  Additional IP Cameras – Expands monitoring to more rooms or office areas.

2. Can the recognition device work properly in factory zones with low illumination or at night shifts?

Yes. Requires cameras with infrared or night vision support for optimal performance under dark conditions.

3. When safety violations or abnormal worker behaviors are detected, does the system send real-time alerts to managers?

Yes. Instant alerts can be sent to mobile devices and can trigger external devices such as alarms or signal lights.

4. Can the recognition device analyze worker behaviors, such as unsafe movements or improper operations?

Yes. Supports behavior analysis such as unsafe movement detection, PPE compliance checks, and restricted-area access monitoring.

5. How to manage VisionSense Edge remotely and connect to VisionSense Manager when deployed behind NAT/firewalls or across multiple local networks?

In most cases, you only need to allow VisionSense Edge to initiate outbound connections. Edge communicates with external systems, such as remote administrators or the VisionSense Manager, by establishing outgoing connections. Please ensure the following ports are allowed for outbound (LAN → WAN) traffic:
